This antenna is no joke. the Nagoya 771g is a BEAST!!!

When i first got my gmrs license, i drove all over the place looking for anyone on gmrs repeaters for a month!! I Never found anyone!! So i went out and punched my ticket. Got my amateur license. but I can remember early in the beginning. looking online I would see the Nagoya 771g antenna everywhere. and I always just went past it never gave it a second thought.. until now , man this thing is powerful!!! holy smokes... I had my j pole just mounted. not even erected and drove to harbor freight to get a multimeter and for the heck of it I brought the tid radio H3 and the Nagoya 771g antenna.. I was shocked how good that antenna is, man... have I been missing out? I'm definitely going to be doing more testing with this thing.
