Diacamma - The Queenless Ants

#Diacamma ants are characterized by the loss of the morphological queen caste. All female individuals look like ordinary workers. This video contains real life footage of the survival of Diacamma ants against the #invasive ants.
The invasive ants (#Anoplolepis) attacked Diacamma colony and killed half the colony. This incident was happened on Kerala, South India, and only a few Diacammas survived. The incident was recorded completely on a mobile phone camera and transformed into this documentary with great effort.
