Every dream starts with courage. In 1969, SAS became the first commercial airline to hire a female pilot - Turi Widerøe. This significant achievement paved the way for other airlines to welcome women into the cockpit.

SAS proudly presents 'Breaking Glass’, a film by Nicolas Bori, inspired by the real stories of Turi Widerøe, Bonnie Tiburzi and other female pioneers who dared to defy norms and inspired future generations.
