Showcasing two Kalashnikov type rifles, an Egyptian Maadi mid 90s import, and a Hungarian AMD-65.
The Egyptian Maadi rifles were imported through the 80s and 90s by a number of different companies, both pre and post AWB era, most notably by Steyr, which were among some of the first true AKM type rifles to enter the US market. This particular variant came with milled off bayonet lugs and a thumbhole "sporter" stock along with a tac welded on muzzle protector. I've removed the muzzle cover for an AKM muzzle nut, replaced the sporter stock with a folding Egyptian "crutch " stock, as well as an Egyptian sling and grip.
