Rydal Precision Engineering invest in two MAKINO EDM machines from NCMT

Tom Skubala of MTDCNC and Paul Rhodes of Rydal Precision Engineering discuss flexibility, productivity, and improved workflows with MAKINO die sink and wire EDMs. With only 3 days of training required per machine, Rydal Precision Engineering were up and running the week after with a wire EDM that works twice as fast as their existing machines! Supplied by NCMT, the wire EDM has a 0.4 wire that can take a higher load which comes through from a higher capacity outlet on the side of the machine. Offering a huge envelope, the machine comes with a dual screen for improved workflow. Talking about the die sink EDM, Paul explains the complete flexibility of the machine with a rotating head, tool changer, threading capability and the ability to run overnight.
