Correct me if im wrong but, there were actually other people waving the white glow sticks, I think she was just hard on herself mentally that she only noticed the other colors. After she noticed him waving the anime subtly showed scenes where other people was waving the white glowsticks after she realized that someone was cheering for her.

The sauce for those that want to know is Oshi no Ko. The first episode WILL fuck you up, it's also an hour and a half long. I suggest sub over dub as the dub is not good. This coming from a dub enjoyed, so this isn't me shitting on all dubs just cause they're dubs.
