Was really, reeeally hoping she'd ask "Unemployed!" and the whole room would just erupt in applause.
I love how hyped she sounds in the beginning but gradually becomes quieter as she loses hope of anyone clapping
You can see her level of distress rising as she wants the fans to be kids and realizes itβs mostly salarymen. She never even got to the unemployed.
the rare exception for school going children at a live would be when the whole family are big fans and the parents will just bring their kids along like it is a family outing (happened a few times for aqours) XD
40 years later: Paychan: Senior Citizens? Audience: *Applause*
To be fair, considering how long this franchise has go, a large percentage of the audience could be Love Live fans for the past decade and now have the financial means to attend a live. Hell, imagine a family of Love Live fans attending.
Once I had a western LL fan try and tell me the series was mainly marketed towards young adult women I dn't have the heart to tell her it's actually 20-40 y/o men
That works out for them though. More members of the workforce as fans means more people with money to spend on Love Live. Aint no underaged or broke students spending their life savings on all that LL merchandise lmao.
Literally Just this one guy XDDDDDDD
She low-key roasting the audience π
i'm going to assume that idol culture works as intended. The workforce whose souls have been ground to nothing by the corporate life are those who need pop idols the most
Imagine the voice actors of MLP hosting their first con and discover their main audience are grown men. XD
I clapped when she asked for college students, but we're a surprising minority, at live shows at least.
Professional students: πππ Workforce: π€£π€ππππβΌοΈ
I'm not in the lovelive fandom, but like arent these concerts mad expensive? how tf are college students and younger gonna afford that?
Only members of the workforce can have the money and be depressed enough to attend live idol concerts
this shouldnβt be surprising, people in japan are incredibly overworked and idol culture is often a form of escapism
Her: "Unemployed?" Everyone: *cheering* Her: "How- How did you guys pay for the tickets?" Everyone: "We didn't." Her: "I'm screwed."
Paychan's career and fame is secured.
