Miku: I have feelings for you
Luka: I have feelings for you
Historians: the feeling was friendship

@theresamushroomonmyshirt7783

I just realised the choreography reflects the lyrics so well. They have parallel or opposite directions and push away from each other in the first two choruses but towards the end when they finally accepted their situation, their movements synched and were in the same direction, and they pushed towards the same direction as well.
And while i like that detail, I also like that the fact that even though they went different directions in dancing the first times, they dtill end up going closer to each other with each step and look harmonised (opposites attract?)
+ How they never really "touch" and instead have lingering close contact, very gingerly and delicate because whenever they go too passionately towards each other, their movements repel :')

@FBI.12

Historians: they were very good friends

@chocoro29

can we talk about their dancing? how they go close together but pull apart as quickly to make such a cool choreography!

@DragovianFeline

Historians: Oh my god, they were roommates

@212Count

Miku's outfit is named "Butterfly"
Luka's outfit is named "Flower"
Perfect. Butterflies suck flowers.

@teenycrow

can't believe my dad turned me into a lesbian when he got me a miku figure at age 10

@FluidityContents

For all of you arguing that the age gap is wrong; Vocaloids are completely open-ended, so their lore changes with each song. For example, Rin and Len are twins, right? In a lot of songs, that’s how they’re depicted. But in such songs as Feathers Across the Seasons, they have more of a healthy romantic relationship, though tragic in nature. And in Genealogy of Red White and Black, they aren’t related, and Rin is subjected to sexual violence at the hands of Len.
So all in all, “Miku is 16 and Luka is 20, they can’t be partners” logic doesn’t work. They could be aged up in this song, or perhaps both are minors and in love, etc etc. Let the lesbians lesbian, they’re good. Thank you for reading

@uoquo9596

Dude, Luka in ponytail should be a religion, prove me wrong

@angelxcx

I legit introduced Luka as a lesbian to my family because of this song lmao back when I discovered Vocaloid, they were more accepting towards her than they were with me lol

@AnonymusGirlSans

Everyone talking bout the gays and im here admiring the hair and skirt physics

@sereno7270

@k_catboy

I searched “Hatsune Miku Lesbian Song” to find this.

@hazeykayy

I just realised when looking through the comments that every single Japanese person here is bitching about the number of 'foreigners' lmao. There is one comment I saw, though..."it's made for foreigners, that's why there's romaji, so they can sing along" like, thanks, Japanese person with sense

@jaal426
