I cant comment on the food, but as an antique dealer of 20+ years I can tell you anything coming from asia regarding fakes is extremely easy to spot. You can not hide poor craftsmanship under artificial patina. Quality castings are incredible hard to properly copy, by the time you make a quality copy you might have as well sold it as a new one. That furniture looked terrible from the first glance - what is that surface? Like painted by a child. And again, by the time you can make proper bent wood furniture you might as well start your own company and sell them as new. Worked maybe in 90s when there was a large import of asian "antiquities" since people had no idea what are the looking at. Good luck fooling anyone for more than few dollars with this stuff.
