i love how this animatic really shows how invasive the suitors are, with them crowding the halls, making a mess, having the maids serving them, all while telemachus is trying to go about his life. you can really feel how they're taking up space

This is probably the only animatic that actually shows that Telemachus is a prince, not just some kid dreaming- a crown prince at that. In every scene in this animatic, it shows depth to his situation- I always hated how people would animate Telemachus as some sort of child with no responsibilities. they never truly described his situation as much as you did. in summary- I LOVE IT!!

I love how you've captured Telemachus as both young and inexperienced but not entirely unpracticed or distant from his princely duties. Like he's a young adult with responsibilities and things and also a bright eyed young adult who is curious and wants to explore! I also LOVE the sketchy style for his dream sequence. And his facial expressions were particularly devastating throughout. Ugh this is a masterpiece!

I love the depiction of days passing for Telemachus during the song to show he's trying to solve what to do, dreaming heroic feats, and the conflicts with the suitors. I love how you drew the suitors, particularly Antinous looking like a savage rogue.

Something gigi probably put purposely in the animatic is that at the start you can see a guy selling fish and a man passing by with a fishing rod which actually makes geographical sense because people who live on islands tend to make most of their financial income by fishing (or tourism.) Really adds to the realism

I love how you depicted the suitors here, even fighting among themselves: they are fighting over Penelope, and only one of them can have her. They only occasionally team up against Telemachus.

Okay...I love this. He actually seems like a young adult with responsibilities, but still has the desire to do more. Also love how he does the l-l-l-legendary as belly rubs and the look of affection for Argos.
