I hate it when news articles make claims off of eBay LISTINGS and not actual sold prices. There are plenty of listings of really common, sometimes damaged coins for outrageous sums of money, like 70k. Then news websites and blogs circulate those numbers. Coin dealers frequently have to deal with customers claiming their 1976 quarter that got ran over by an 18 wheeler is worth a fortune, then get a bunch of bad attitude when they tell the customer that they might as well spend it. I'm glad that the operators of this channel know how to present information right.

Hey I'm a general manager for a tacobell. I have family that also operates 14 locations. I can confirm most of the ones on sale on ebay are from demo people selling them instead of tossing them

I actually found this story more interesting that if it were an actual heist. Really shows how manipulated stories and news reporting can be in today's world. The Taco Bell twist idea is an even deeper rabbit hole to explore. Legit video fern. Nice work.
