Just tested this at the range, was such an unlock for me, thanks!!!

As a life long basketball player (up to D1 basketball) yesterday I went to top golf and drove a ball 190 yards, it was one of the best feelings of my life and it felt strange because it’s almost the equivalence of a basketball swishing through the net. I’ve fell in love with it, and now I’m chasing for the next swing lol I’m graduated now but as a black American I really hate how golfing was never advertised in black communities for children, this sport is so peaceful and yet so tactical with how you approach the ball. I’m ready to be a student of the game!

@DylanLaFazio

Thank you very much, I am a beginner, only golfed for a few months, but have not golfed for about a year, everytime I would swing I would think about keeping my arm as straight as possible, but I tried this just now while holding my pitching wedge, and your right it definitely takes a lot of tension off the back and chest and shoulder, feels way better, can’t wait to try it

@GolfWithLucy

Will try 😊

The Sound of Power! 💥 Her Swing Is Next Level

@rvoykin

This is great advice I essentially just shortened my backswing to the point where it became a struggle to keep my arms straight. I didn’t lose any distance and gain consistency because I didn’t have as much time up. I’ve always been a pretty long hitter and I was afraid to go to a more compact swing. But the only thing that happened was better dispersion

@TiaVsTheWorld

Forcing arm to stay straight is killing your golf swing.
But keep you arm straight turning correctly you'll flush your shots.
So what you actually mean is by hinging your wrists and turning correctly helps you to hit good shots.....

@Livlitty_12

Thank you sir this is so helpful I will show them now … I am the all mighty top golfer!

@EpicRealEstate

Focusing on keeping my left arm straight is literally one of my primary swing thoughts, and I've been making much better contact since. Do what works for you... until it doesn't work.

@Bacon_pancakes_plate

Thank you I am a beginner and I’m not very good your helping very much

@mmayojr

Hingeing my wrist was actually killing my golf swing. I started hingeing much less and really started compressing the ball.

@davidmcguerty8405

Certainly gonna try this. So simple. Why not?

@connormcintyre8859

Swing your swing friends, the best player in the world has a not so great looking swing but he’s figured out a way to get the club square through impact

@Tin5674

looks pretty much the same with a shorter backswing 🤷

@Outdoorsportsenthusiasts

This is truly amazing! To make a hole-in-one is fantastic. It would be even better if I could practice my putting at a putting mat at home.

@jbird8112101

This video changed my swing. 👍🏽

@paulgouge1896

The biggest differbce between the two swings is - the late wrist cock is only acheived with a bent left arm which caused overswing, club off plane. We didnt get to see the downswing but that would most likely be reverse order with early uncocking of wrist and club casting.

@Laxbro3220

It’s good to arch the lead shoulder a little bit, but yes while not keeping the whole entire arm locked straight. It’s been helping my game.

@reece8224

Seems like both videos arm was pretty damn straight - I agree for above avg golfers who have a good foundation of hitting solid already, but teaching someone brand new. Left arm straight all day baby

@bayareadoghouse

I no longer start my backswing at address. This is exactly what I do, starting at parallel with the wrists already set. Getting to where I want at the top is now so easy. Try this, it works.
