I wouldn't trust the Indian government rather send the black box to a third country, plane's don't just fall out of the sky and the Indian government doesn't want to destroy it's airlines by giving out the correct information.

Boeing left a lot of sharp debris inside the plane during manufacturing and did not care as the plane was going to a 3rd world country. Those whistle-blowers that did care mysteriously died just before testifying. The sharp debris had already short circuit the air conditioning and the entertainment system. However, these are not issues according to the pilots check list that will ground the take off. Unfortunately, these sharp debris now started to short circuit the central flight computer that gave shut down signal to the FADEC's, even the pilots had full throttle on. The new 787's have no mechanical direct connection to the engines, so just a manufacturing defect causing a short circuit made AI 787 go down. Boeing no longer has redundancy, the Swiss cheese layers that needs to line up for an accident to happen.
