Really good detectives . Great questioning and tone

I've been in recovery for 8 years and no longer live in Seattle, but when I used I would occasionally cop in this area. I actually stopped picking up in the camps on that side of town because of a crazy incident with THIS GUY. He was camped closer to chinatown (2015), it was night time (maybe 11-12:30 at night) and I couldn't get ahold of anyone so I walked up to the camp to cop from whoever was there. I'd met Steve maybe 2 or 3 times before but got really weird vibes. That night he sold me some and then kept trying to convince me to come into his tent to fix up because I was sick. He was insisting it was safe and saying all this weird stuff.. I just kept telling him my boyfriend was waiting and going to come up if I don't leave. But he kept trying to pressure me to to go inside, and the entrance to his tent was between some shrubs and a fence so he was blocking me in and I didn't want to push him and escalate it so we were just going back and forth for several minutes.. Finally a tweaker from another tent came out, bottle of liquor in hand, all hyped up asking what's going on. He lifted his shirt up to show a gun in his waistband and started aggressively yelling at me to leave. I just froze and he yelled at me "Its ok!!" and told me to get to the path waving his hand in the air yelling "go!". So I just bolted past Steve and started walking out fast, once I was on the path I started running, the whole way to the street I could hear the other tweaker yelling at steve calling him a r*pist and to stop pulling this in his camp.
I never copped alone from a stranger again and never went to the camps on that side of the city again.

I can't say I knew Shannon, but she's only a couple years older than me and likely ran around similar circles to cop. What happened to her could have just as easily been any of my friends. So this whole story hits way too close to home. Thanking everything I got clean when I did, its gotten wayyy too crazy out there

@sk8punk318

He totally starts shaking his leg when he lies about knowing where “the other Shannon is”

@vanessavalley9747

I was in active addiction for years. Not one time have i let someone overdose and not help or get help. Ppl let ppl die and would rather hide the body or dump a person. Instead of saving there life or calling 911. I will never understand that. So sad. I'm thankful and blessed to have a year clean and fighting for my life.

@trustmesonimyourfather9097

Wow. I remember when this happened. I was in active addiction and hung out here all day and night. I knew him. Not well, but i knew him. This isnt the first time this has happened at that encampment.

7 months clean and sober now..

@laurahooper7609

I was homeless and my policy was keep it clean and keep it quiet. Those camps were very messy.

@thomaswentt1047

You really gotta be careful where you put your murder tent these days.

@1Drum4you

This Channel has become my overall favorite over the others.

And the Intro song is great, it feels like I’m watching a show and the intro pulls you in, every time.

@ykgirl1967

Credit to the officers doing the interview, very well done. It is nice to see so much effort to find this young woman's murderer. It's not often that cases like this are investigated so well or with so much compassion.

@ellekay4758

It’s wild that when you don’t value your own life, selfishly you don’t give af about anyone else’s, either. Absolute evil.

@gunnardblack9463

This dude is so out there that he doesn't even know how to lie. His words are so off

@l.ronhubbard5445

0:49 "smell was intense(in tents)" - I see what you did there lol

@kigetit

This is so sad. As soon as I saw the title of the video, I knew it had something to do with Seattle. It's so terrifying. They find young girls, bodies, weapons in these camps all.the.time. It's heartbreaking.

@semicharmedlife311

This is Monsters: "It's NEVER a mannequin."

Beyond Evil: "It's NEVER a dead animal."

@TwistedQuestionMark

The bike bells almost took me out 😂😂😂 Rest in Peace, Shannon.

@alexismamadou2193

"I dunno, I sleep with a lot of girls" 🧐 I should update my tinder profile with tent pics 😒

@awkwardautistic

Glad I'm sober today and don't have to live that way anymore.

@Werd_69

Good lad mat. Helping the police. 👏🏻👏🏻hope you’re doing well fella.

@Ann-sj4pt

So sad how this lady passed ❤
