What a beautiful voice Doris had. I was fortunate to see many of her movies and to listen to her gorgeous songs. Sadly missed.

@SoLaRe60

This is originally a French song named "Les feuilles mortes" made famous by Yves Montand. Doris sings it beautifully too.

Used to hear Doris sing very much when I was a teenager. I liked her soft and melodius tone and her nice clear pronunciation. And I still like to hear her sing.

When I was young and foolish I thought Doris Day was boring. I'm glad I lived long enough to learn to appreciate her great talent.

@christineribone9351

Doris had a beautiful clear, clean soprano voice. I always loved her singing. Thanks Doris!

@williamlrobinson6293

Doris had a golden voice. After her vocals with Les Brown, she built a great movie career. I never get tired of listening to her vocals. This is singing that will last forever.

@AnaJil

This song should be extremely heartbreaking for those who are hopelessly in love or have lost someone very special...

@lia7654

My grandma will be proud of me listening to her. Such a masterpiece <3

@thelawsshumi3290

Thank you for leaving us songs to remember your beautiful voice.

R.I.P. Ms. Doris Day

@stephenstephen1505

That wonderful smooth voice and delivery. Apparently she frequently recorded in one take because she was so well prepared. RIP

@boopkid

All that she stood for has been lost through the decades, she personified wholesome values, that our society has ridiculed and squandered since the late 60's and replaced it with cynicism and depravity.. There will never be another Doris Day or what she stood for, sadly.that innocence is forever gone...Let's just be glad we have our memories, her movies, TV shows and recordings to remember her by.

@louisewoody1

I am in Southern Florida and sorry to say I have found thru the years that the music from the 40's-50's has become a thing of the past. I lost my wife of 52 years this past October
and after my Grand-daughter told me about "You Tube Music" I have created about 8 playlists with as they say "MUSIC OF OUR TIME". It is great listening to the likes of Doris Day, Margaret Whiting, Don Cornell, Rosemary Clooney, Jo Stafford and June Christy to name a few. THANK YOU VERY MUCH YOU TUBE.

@boopkid

Her voice is timeless, glad you have an appreciation for her. Thanks for your post.

@fatyyadam3289

J'aime beaucoup la vivacité de Doris Day. .Et sa voix chaleureuse ♡

@brendajohnson622

Such a beautiful woman with such a beautiful voice...she is sadly missed

@liwmld

so unique is Doris' singing, and also her speaking voice. just so elegant and beautiful, so pure and smooth. no singer from her day, and certainly none from today(!) could hold a candle to her beautiful voice, and the smooth delivery... these days, singers seem to be judged on how loud they can shout. some of it isn't even singing!

@AZ13105

A beautiful and crystal clear voice... RIP dear Doris... you were a light in many people's memories.

@sg72646

Still listening to and loving this beautiful song in 2020. Nat King Cole's version is awesome too!

@sharonlanteri2537

I could listen to Doris all day long, such a magical voice❤❤
