@LinkSOB To be more specific: Season one of Robotech was an almost true representation of Super Dimensional Fortress Macross. Harmony Gold wanted to bring such a great show to the USA, but at that time syndicated programs had a minimum number of episodes, and so they had to rewrite the script slightly and include two other shows. Super Dimensional Cavalry Southern Cross and Genesis Climber Mospeada, respectively.

@LinkSOB No, i believe is the second series from macross zero, remember robotech was a fetch from 3 different japanesse series, only macross city has a continuation as far as i know

@LinkSOB You are sooooo wrong!!! Robotech is a ripoff of original SDF Macross and some other series. This is the latest of the Macross series; Macross Frontier.
