It’s funny how cards like Pokémon, MTG, etc kind of fall into three categories: people who buy them to play with them (this is pretty much what most kids who play, are doing), collectors who just want a complete set, and, essentially, gamblers who, instead of buying scratch cards, or playing roulette, buy packs of cards in the hope of making money.

ohh my goodness I remember going to target and picking this out. It was my first ever time buying something with a big Pokémon card and it felt extra special because I bought it with my own money. It was 20$ at the time and I thought it was so much money 😭
