I think we commonly forget Mirae can make serious/horror types of animations He (assuming bcuz the closest thing we got to his voice was his Q&A, which congrats on 50k) tends to make funny, wholesome, epic fighting or goofy animations and then this.... hits hard.

It’s really just hard to see koishi in a sad bloody state like that. Just being crushed from just doing something so nice. Only to then get it denied and beat up later. Glad that Utsuho beat that 1st one up like that but still seeing as koishi almost walking into that beam to end it all was…… sad. And seeing that last bit of her standing their all bloody up with a sad expression on her face was heartbreaking.

I just realised that no matter how dumb she is, if Okuu really snapped like that for the same exact reason, Gensokyo would become a nuclear waste in under 30 seconds.

Satori youkai's are hated for their mind-reading abilities. This seems like something very likely as to why Koishi closed her 3rd eye. Mirae taking advantage of the lack of information to make their own, very cool.

It was only one punch for what he caused and what happened to Koishi, but I like to think that one of Utsuho's strikes is like one of the Hulks. An earthquake to the face.
