I loved how you explained why the animators only having one week to work on each episode is a "good thing"
Fun fact: the school is a real place on earth.
I always loved the realistic backgrounds they were so fun to just see animated characters run around them.
I always thought they just had real life places for most of these…
I'm sorry, what?? This is straight up just not true. From what I recall, gumball episodes always took around an entire year to make, with around 26 episodes being worked on at the same time.
No one actually believes they make an episode in a week right,, 😭😭😭
HE CAN’T GET GETTING AWAY WITH THIS
Nobody's gonna talk about to the fact that they animated gumball on Windows 7??? Edit: this was supposed to be a Fun (also useless) fact and didn't expect that some Fellow IT's would reply to this comment gng 🥀🥀
I'm 25 and love gumball. It came out when I was still in middle school, and it still smacks me in the face with laughs hard
i loved the part where he explained how the made each episode in a week
I don't regret watching this show it still a PEAK CHILDHOOD
Sometimes animation is just so cool that like you got some got question
thats why my art style is pretty inspired by them. work smarter not harder
Ain't you the guy from SML universe
If they had the whole time in their lives to make an episode, it wouldn’t look cartoonish…
The compositing for the show was insanely good, it didn’t just look like 2d characters slapped onto a 3d background but they actually looked like they were part of the scene I saw a breakdown video made by a compositor of the show and how they take so many steps just to make one scene look better by adjusting the lighting, effects, depth and what not
man this makes things seem much simpler as someone intrested in making mixed media, i just assumed it was 3d backgrounds
I always wondered why the background looked so realistic. This is really good. 😱😀
So why did them having one week help them animate? Considering the amount of art styles they use, it should take longer
