Do you think it accidental that Jaguar designed the XK120 to look as beautiful with the bonnet up as down?
Another episode on Limit 55. At least one part of the world is running smoothly. I have fossils from the Atlas Mountains.
I can not imagine going there …. So this video was the closest I may ever get to going there…. This is really well done…. Thank you thank you.
Wow!! Now there's a Road Trip Special Episode. Two legendary cars in the Atlas mountains... What a dream. And again, an extremely well put together video
motoring at its finest! ♫ Wouldn't you know we're riding on the Marrakesh Express They're taking me to Marrakesh All aboard the train, all aboard the train ♫ -- Graham Nash -- BTW, i recently purchased a '67 mk2.sedan, in excellent condition, with the 3.4l XK engine. probably similar to the original engine in that E-type, assuming its an early one. i immediately set out on a trip from california to ohio. made it over Colorado's 12,000ft Loveland Pass, but found the block was cracked, most likely before i even started the trip, when i reached ohio. had to leave it in a shop there and fly back home. three months later and the car remains in ohio and i'm at wit's end trying to source a jag engine rebuilder for the 3.4l engine. i'm not anticipating getting the car back for another six months or so. :( and... what's the status of that TC (TD?) you picked up a while back in Antioch?
This looks so like such an experience, As an Englishman like you (we’re similar ages I think) this really reaches to something inside, that grand tour Anglo eccentricity to go to those rough around the edges but undeniably beautiful and ancient parts of the world that still somehow cling on in the conformist corpo/globalised age. I’ve been on a motorcycle trip in the Atlas Mountains but a driving a battered old friend in the desert frontier seems so right. Somehow I don’t think my asthmatic 67’ bgt would handle those mountain roads so well, or the heat, or the journey from England, who knows, this video has set a flame, so thank you for that. As they probably say in that part of the world - Qui onques rien n'enprist riens n'achieva!
Seriously, this needs a two hour video, or a season to itself. We'll done! Love the quirky sense of humor (hotter than a pair of camel balls). And whom was your lovely road partner?
well done!
Great vid guys! Morocco is on my travel list. Looks like a great trip.
Hey Guys! Thanks for the video! Your videography is becoming truly impressive! Are you still filming it yourself, or have you hired a camera guy? Either way, your videos get better every time!👍😃😉
Did you get to "pilot" the E Type ? The most accurate description of driving a Jaguar that I have ever heard ---- "You Dont drive a Jag --you pilot it". Craig (Sydney Australia) Jag E Type ser 2 1969 OTS. Grace Space and Pace ! MGB 1969 Safety Fast ! (and "piloted" a friends XK120 many times)
Your videos are amazing. I really like it. I am a new subscriber to your channel. Can I talk with you??
