I keep a sharpie handy. Mark the tops of everything with the expiration dates and be sure to rotate your supplies. I do a pantry clean out every 6 months and pull out anything close to the expiration date to use up first.

I love the pantry haul. I will say the freezed dried fruits is so good to add to cereals and oatmeal especially the strawberries

peppermints are very good for digestion. I have IBS and no medicine seems to help just peppermint. I get candy peppermints to use when it is not so bad and peppermint pills when it is worse. That is why you use to see peppermints at the check out counter in restaurants usually for free. It aids the intestines in digestion and causes less cramps there. I'm glad you showed the ingredients of the freeze dried mixed fruits. They contained mulberries and I have been wanting to try them. I just planted two mulberry bushes mainly because they are native to the area I'm in but I've never seen them here.

FISH? For $1.25…Holy Mackerel ….what a bargain! 🤣 Really good price for healthy fish (I have NO idea how to serve these, sigh). Gosh, you did a wonderful job of low-budget food shopping here. Impressive! I did crack up with that tomato sauce label stating “meat flavored”. Progresso Soup serving 8 for $1.25? WOW. Freeze dried fruits at that price? Girl, you have opened my eyes. Cue the Disney music, “A Whole New World”. I’m off to find a large Dollar Tree near me ❤️. THANK YOU.

I've been shopping at Aldi since about 1990. My Grandfather (who was blind) used to take my mom, my siblings and I on the city bus in Chicago when we'd visit him.
