@nolancrider

You didn’t just kill the amp, you killed me too

@ryanriggs9963

You gotta crank it, the distortion comes from the blown speaker which you can't really tell at low volumes

@TheD.O.X

It definitely made the tone warmer which honestly made it sound nice

@iFlyzr

“apparently stabbing it makes it sound different” pulls a cleaver

@RockOverwatch

"This is my brother. I heard if you stab it-"

@Odyss-d2p

That amp was perfectly capable of a distorted sound without the aftermarket modifications

@zaturnneo

The best representation of this is the Kinks, Ya Really Got Me. While the story has been debated, Dave Davies sliced his speaker after an argument and in the process created a defining sound.

@JJJCM33

"apparently if you stab it, it will sound different" well yeah no shit 😂

@MunozLeprechaun

Smells like guitarist spirit

@alexandergeodakyan1988

You also need to crank the actual volume up so the speaker starts to vibrate and with the help of the holes the natural distortion will come out.

@Advaith259

the discord sound at the end jumpscared me cuz i didnt have discord open 😭😭

@C6lr

NGL that sounds GOOD

@jdcool6199

It’s an fender mustang amp it already has distortion on it

@-jank-willson

to get most distortion, you have to use a sewing needle and stab it about 500 -1,000 times, all clustered together at the center

@DOBbysMusic

Reminds me of The Kinks. The guitarist got pissed one day and slashed his amp and that's partially what produced the unique, fuzzy guitar tone.

@i_mperfecthatred

i can’t explain how happy i was to hear nirvana lol

@Jabezrtpp

Credits to Mikey Piscopo for the idea! Check him out!

@DelilahMartinez-g9m

you pick the best song to try it with 😭🙏

@brunopagan2808

Damn bro, i love nirvana

@LocalNeighborhoodPerson

Nice riff, gotta love that teen spirit
