The impressive mountains of the Swiss Jura set the stage for a natural drama - the epic tale of two cities.

David Attenborough takes us deep into the heart of ant societies, to witness an unfolding drama. Meet the royal families and their loyal citizens - queens, workers, scouts and soldiers - in times of peace and war. 4K-capable endoscopes and specially designed miniature 4K lens systems help explore these miniature empires in ways that have never been seen before — from an ant's eye view!

@marylebone9357

10000 years in the future when the ants are watching this video they'll be amazed by all this fantastic cinematography detailing how their society first started.

@jonathanrobison9667

Shoutout to the cameraman for shrinking himself down then bravely entering the ants nets, all while taking perfect footage

@popodio

Watching the scene where he was pointing out the queens, you can see he never lost his sense of child like wonder for nature. David is a great example of following your dreams, never losing that zest for life and appreciation of the little things.

@SovereignFighter1

🤩😍 My childhood. Everyone hated sitting through what they saw as boring nature videos in class. I could not wait to hear the soothing voice of Mr Attenborough and enjoy nature as only he can describe it.

@OaklandTae

So fortunate to have had him narrating nature for me my entire life. Legend...

I just simply love listening to Sir Attenborough. That voice is synonymous with the animal world since I knew what a TV was.

@jamieeto

I was excited out of my seat to see a new David Attenborough documentary! I don’t care what he talks about! This was really interesting though. He always brings something new.

@johnmugavero29

@DaveBuildsThings

Only Davis Attenborough could have explained this amazing story of nature so well. And to me, it was truly amazing. Nature can teach us a lot if we are only willing to look, listen and learn.
