10:23 the only game that matters

@plasmaastronaut

commodore's suicide is one of the strangest stories in computer history. A company that forged itself with the mid range PET and then led the world with mid and high end systems with the Vic20, C64 , C128, Amiga1000, Amiga500 and had learnt a hard lesson with the failed low end C16,116 and Plus 4 trying to muscle in on the the ZX Spectrum's turf: Instead of giving the Amiga a new chipset, they spend the next 8 years trying to regurgitate the 1985 chipset in different guises. I'm sure the original amiga team could have created another fantastic chipset well before the end of the 1980s. The Amiga 1000 was said to be at least 5 years ahead of the competition in 1985. Could the Amiga Team have created a Chipset capable of running Doom(1993) in 1989? Commodore would have ruled the world.

Just another demonstration of how dumb management are: no concept of tech advance, no idea of the boyish thrill and mesmerisation when seeing cutting edge gfx that drives a young male to possess something.

@twoheadedthingies5000

Xenon 2 definitely got a CDTV release, I've played it.

@SuperNitroZ64

I wonder if we are going to see every Apple Bandai Pippin game in one video?

@cysper479

5:23 thanks for the nightmares

@anthonyaddison2383

There are some good games made for this system as well.

@АхилесЭакидов

@ArchivesOfRecords

a classic system I like it because
the town with no name

@visual_Memories

Ah yeah, it's time for Trivial Pursuit night with the family.

@MrSmegheneghan

I saw one of the games on this console on a stream, and felt the need to look up what other games the console that originally hosted it was capable of. Gotta say, some interesting choices on show!

@tHeWasTeDYouTh

wonder how much money Commodore lost on the cdtv

@DmitriyK12

Hmmm, Global Chaos must be the strangest/weirdest video game title ever created for the Commodore CDTV or any other console for that matter; it is absolutely bonkers and makes me glad that I didn't own a CCDTV console ! 😬🙄😳🤣

@valeriozecchinelli2555

@natedog2304

Please Do PS3?? Just wondering

@alibolink0719

That controller probably makes these games a nightmare to control

@valenrn8657

For 1991 hardware, SNES beats CDTV's aging hardware.

@a2pha

Seems like most of the titles take advantage of the CD audio of the add-on and - not much more.

@sylvainmarcucci265

how can we get a compilation of such games on CDTV ??? so awesome...

@MrLordpistoia

Where's code name hell squad?

@Foebane72

IS THAT ALL THERE IS?
