I love it when I see people using instruments using whatever technique works. it's just an object, like any other. anything can make sound; the challenge is in making as many different kinds of sounds as possible and in a way that sounds good. a pen? instrument. your hand? instrument. your fingernail on the edge of a guitar? instrument. the whole world can be one big instrument, if you let it.
