We Love Ghibli's Music!!
This is one of the friendliest comment sections Iβve seen on YouTube. :) Have a great day, whether youβre studying for finals or chillin.
I played this one time at work, then my co-worker asked me for the title of this playlist. He seemed really into it and even checked out different versions on youtube. I was so surprised to learn that an old school guy like him would be interested in jazz/bossa nova. I played it everyday since then and he would hum super off-key. But I remember always feeling so warm inside. His name was Gwyn. And he died 2 days ago. Work will never be the same. I wish everyone knew Gwyn. He was the most loving, kind-hearted, SELFLESS guy. I guess he is in a better place now β€οΈ
I remember one day at work ( a cafe) which I did the opening shift. I took the privilege to choose the first song of the day. I played this and this one customer would always say out the name of the song and the movie it's from each time I walk past him. That made my day
i just wanna say, thank you so much for not putting ads in the middle of your videos
i'm not sure why but ghibli music always makes me want to cry for no apparent reason
This ghibli cafe has been with me for years now. College, NICU with my firstborn, and cooking in our first home for my wife and a bottle of wine, to name a few. Thank you.
Pretty sure the 20 million views on this video are just the same 100k people playing it over and over again π
My husband and I love this playlist so much! We played it while everyone was sitting and eating at our wedding reception. It created such a gorgeous atmosphere. :)
I went to this Cafe the other day, and they played Ghibli music. Everyone inside was young, it had a refreshing young, and French design to it. The Baristas were young as well. I felt so young.
Iβm a huge fan of studio Ghibli movies. I teach elementary school and I play the soundtrack while my kids are doing their independent work and also during tests. One day as I was giving one of our unit tests and I put on the soundtrack one of my students raise their hand. I walked over to her assuming it would be a question about what was on the test. She looked me in the face and asked if this from Princess Mononoke. Her excitement and smile made me laugh. I said yes it is and she exclaimed how her big brother had watched the movie with her and she loved it. This hit home for me because I watched the same movie with my Little sister when I was a kid. Iβll probably listen to over 50 hours of this video with my class and as a reward have shown them Totoro and Kikiβs delivery service. To be able to show them such a good films and listen to such a good music is a joy. Thanks for putting this together!!!
when I grow up, I'm going to open a cafe with my soulmate and my cat. we can travel around the world when the cafe is closed. we can enjoy brewing coffee and talking to our customers. we can play this music there too.
closing the night with Ghibli Jazz Cafe Music ~ aaaaahhhhhh ~
Story time: This takes me back to when me and my boyfriend were roadtripping from the Czech Republic to Spain and went through Lindau, a kind of "island" in Germany with its own climate and small population. After a full day exploring the island, when we were preparing to leave, an alarm sounded that this was a really heavy storm and camping could be dangerous. Therefore, we decided to spend the night. We asked around for some room to stay in, as it was unplanned, but everything was pretty much full because of the festival. Seeing as a lot of people were preparing for the festival, as we explored during the day, we saw some of the organizers. A group was drinking beer and seemed pretty friendly, so we approached them after some initial shyness. We ended up serving beer throughout the night as "payment" for a small cottage full of harmless huge spiders. It was incredible. Even though the storm was a brutal force of nature, these songs remind me of that day because of the happiness I felt. Thank you for reading :)
If one day I somehow own a coffee store, I will play this 24/7.
